When Derek was de mobbed after the Second World War he decided to go into farming starting at first with dairy but always had some chickens which produced plenty of eggs, so it wasn’t long before he was selling them at the farm to lots of very satisfied customers.

As things progressed over the years he went more into egg producing rather than milk and eventually the dairy side was phased out to concentrate wholly on egg production.

The eggs produced on his farm where so popular that another farm had to be purchased to keep up with demand. Derek White’s Eggs have seen many changes and fierce competition over the years,  yet this second generation family business remains a stalwart of the egg supply industry,  still supplying many people with eggs week in week out. In fact we believe the reason we are still trading so strongly today is because we are a family business who supply many other family run business people who in turn recognise quality and excellent reliable service above all else.

As we celebrate our 60th year in business at this site we continue to innovate and move forward in an ever changing market place,  but above all we remain sincere and dedicated to supplying the best quality produce and service to our clients.
